About Me
I’m Shifu Luis, an art teacher and lifelong martial artist based in New York City.
For over 25 years, I’ve trained deeply in Chinese martial arts, with a special passion for Xing Yi Quan — a powerful internal style known for its directness, efficiency, and focus. I also have extensive experience in Northern Shaolin Gung-Fu, and for over 18 years, I’ve shared these arts with students across NYC.
My goal is to help you deepen your discipline, sharpen your focus, strengthen your self-defense skills, and explore the rich tradition of Xing Yi Quan. I guide students step-by-step, making training both accessible and challenging so you can grow in skill and confidence.
